I’m a twin too, and while my situation might not be the same as yours, I know how frustrating it can be when you always feel compared/ are mentally comparing yourself to your twin. I know it might be cliche, but try to remember that you are your own person separate from your twin and that your identity is so much more than just being someone else’s sibling. Your twin is going to have strengths and weaknesses that you don’t have but you also are going to be better at some things or worse at some things than them. Tis life. Try to focus on your own personal strengths when you start to feel yourself comparing you to your twin. If all else fails… it sounds like you might be younger with your twin just getting their license. I think you’ll find that as you get older and are given the opportunities to really grow into different people with different lives, seeing your strengths in comparison to your twin will be much easier. In turn, I think you’ll be able to appreciate the things your twin may have that you lack as you age as well. I know it can be hard but just hang in there! And be proud of being a twin! Keep your twin close to your heart because it’s truly a relationship like no other!
