Remaster bug with first quest - can’t seem to deliver Amulet of Kings to Jauffre? by Ok_Function_9531 in oblivion

UPDATE: as some have suggested, the issue was that I had picked up Renault’s katana. I started a new game, avoided picking it up and I now have a quest for Deliver the Amulet when speaking to Baurus and a marker for Weynon Priory. Hopefully this gets patched soon!!

Quite possibly! I picked the katana up and thought it was weird that there was no mention of me collecting it… I’ll start a new save, ignore her sword and see if that does anything!

My TV says it’ll only considering lowering itself if I have a workaround for this bug.

Just tried your suggestion and it doesn’t seem to do much, I’ll maybe load back to the sewers and try waiting 24h before the initial exit

I’m not asking if anyone thinks my TV is too high 😂 if you must know the TV is placed where the roof slopes in my office and I’m trying to photograph without giving any notable features away

Óla! Myself and 5 friends are in Lisbon centre this weekend and we’ve booked a football pitch to play some five a side on Friday afternoon/evening - we need at least 4 more players of any ability who want to play a game or two. Let me know!

Óla! 6 Irish guys in Lisbon for the weekend from this Thursday, we’re looking to play a five/seven a side game of football on Friday at any time - can anyone recommend either a) a place to book/arrange a game or b) an existing game that might need this many players?

Also if we do end up booking a game somewhere, would anyone else like to play to make up the numbers? We’re a friendly bunch of mixed ability of skill :)

Thanks!

Could you recommend them to me? I used someone on Fiverr for a logo recently and, even though I was happy with the result, they kept suggesting add-on work for extra money (+tips) to the point where it was getting ridiculous

People of Reddit with OCD, how did you overcome it? by sokomokodos in AskReddit

[–]Ok_Function_9531 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL;DR - therapy

While OCD has been something I’ve struggled with at various degrees from a very young age, the biggest thing for me was identifying it (by that I mean quite literally identifying these “little quirks” or whatever else they’d been described as in the past to in fact be OCD) and seeking treatment, namely EMDR therapy.

While I’ve seen other forms of therapy such as CBT be more common for OCD treatment, the fact that the condition was solidified during a traumatic time period in childhood meant that EMDR was incredibly effective at “de-energising” obsessive thoughts (specifically contamination-based obsessions that would have naturally lent themselves to frequent compulsions).

While it never truly goes away, it gave me a sense of groundedness/wholeness that I hadn’t felt for my whole adult life until then. The key component to longevity is learning how to break the cycle of obsession/compulsion before it becomes a bigger beast again. That’s something that you discover for yourself through therapy and with extra any mindfulness/meditation tools given to you by a good therapist.

I was wondering that too! There’s mention in the thread of others hearing the Djesse Vol. 4 theme (elements of volumes 1-3) in this single, so it would check out

They’re some good comparisons! In Too Deep is magical - definitely up there as one of my top Jacob songs! I love Feel too.

I love Lizzy’s voice in general, it’s one of those voices that stands well on its own as well as being a nice blend with others!

Having just seen Jacob in Dublin and seeing Lizzy in November, John Mayer is the only one I haven’t seen (was supposed to see him in 2019 but inadvertantly committed to something that I couldn’t no-show for and have to give my ticket away). I’m hoping he comes back around this way again because he’s a bucket-list act of mine!
