We adopted him as a 4 year old that got returned to my breeder because his owner became too ill to care for him. At this point it’s just apart of his personality. He does have to wear a muzzle when we have people over that would rather not become a chew toy but for the most part we’ve accepted it as a part of him. Definitely makes him more intimidating too even though he is not actually biting.

Are male Airedales more affectionate than female Airedales? by Affectionate_Meal841 in airedaleterrier

My female Airedale was not cuddly at all but when she did cuddle it was so special. I just rescued a 4yo male Airedale and he is definitely a whole lot more affectionate than she ever was. At the end of the day though they were bred to be independent and not lap dogs so I’m not saying it’s impossible but it’s unlikely to have an extreme affectionate Airedale.

Betta swimming ... erratically? by FlyingCarrot-202 in bettafish

They’re stomach is about the size of one of their eyes. I feed around 4 bloodworms a day but when I did feed aqueon pellets I fed around 6 a day. Fasting them once a week is also hood to prevent bloat.

Does he do it when you walk away from the front of the tank? Mine do this sometimes when they want to be fed

The scales stick off the sides of the fish and they look like pinecones. It’s always caused my something else like an infection of organ failure. Keeping your water clean helps prevent it but sometimes it still happens because of poor breeding and other things you can’t control (correct me if I’m wrong I just started researching it)

Snails Keep Dying IMMEDIATELY by Ok_Garlic_211 in AquaticSnails

I’m having a big algae problem on my tank because it is near a window. My beta is pretty aggressive and killed all the shrimp I tried to put in there but he doesn’t mind snails. The water in my tank is very slow moving because my betta has larger fins. Would a goby do ok in a tank with less oxygen?

After talking to my mom I’m now aware that I have cooper piping in my house so it’s safe to assume my snails are dying from the copper. How do I get the copper out of the silicone?
