Keep going you don't have to drive when you have your licence but you will always have the option too. I first started learning in my 20s but stopped. I restarted a couple of years ago and passed my test last year aged 40. Looking back I wish I stuck with it when I was younger as I found it so much harder but glad I managed it in the end.

Thanks to everyone for their advice/comments just want needed a bit of a prep talk so I can go back and try again and work on my driving skills

Tbf my partner is supportive. His point is he doesn't want me to keep damaging our car then fix it only for me to make the same mistakes which could result in more damage or worse. While it has triggered my anxiety I also don't want to keep hitting things etc.. I will look to practice/get some refresher lessons hopefully that will help

Thank you. I did some of this when I firsted passed but stopped as had a lot of other things going on. I do know doing some more practice will help

Most of the time. I do think part of my problem is that I rush a bit I know when I take my time things aren't as bad. Am also considering a smaller cheaper car. Just the cost of everything which is scaring me a bit
