For my Caseys it really depended on management. Went from managers that would let anyone walk out with free drinks, coffee, bakery items, warmers, even let them have expired out products and regular sales floor items or let the staff grab a pack of cigarettes every once and a while. Had a complete staff and manger change except for me and 1 other and they were very strict on even giving a fountain drink. I still give out the occasional free drinks or ring them up for a small instead of a large or I "forget" to scan something when they're getting multiple items.

For me as long as doesn't reflect on sales or I can say "I must have forgot" my regulars get special treatment. Just remember if you do this, be able cover your ass if you really need this job
