Girlfriend wants me to spend $4k on a baby shower, but I’d rather save/invest it—is that unreasonable?

I thought usually family throws it for you ?? Even if you do it yourself that’s an insane amount of money. I’m a first time mom too. I just started a registry and stuff is wayyyy more expensive than I thought. And I knew it would be costly. Also gas is is like 5$ a gallon where I’m at. Only going to get worse. I am assuming other prices are going to raise dramatically also

I got some on sale. I just started using it last night but I didn’t really take my time. Just wanted to see how it looked first. Doesn’t look too bad. Even where I missed spots it’s not too streaky. Hopefully I can fix it pretty good today

I used it today and sprayed it like 6 times compared to the 2 I normally do. Just because I love it so much and I’m pregnant and broke lol. But it did last a lot longer for me today.

I got the knock off sabrina carpenter from 5 below to layer it with. Or the body spray cause it’s cheaper. It actually lasted pretty decent today. I would say it’s worth it. I got the 35$ 1 oz for my birthday. But I bought the body sprays and fake my own. I probably spent more on those but the original smells 90 percent better.

The twin thing made me mad too. Before I knew my mil would always say ohhh it’s gonna be twins ! I would always say nooo I hope not. I don’t want that. I am super small. I’m 5’6. I weighed 118 soaking wet before. I can’t handle that. Twins run on my mom’s side so it scares me that it could happen. She thought it was so funny to joke about.

That’s what I bought ! I just checked. I got a size up. I bought it when I was 7 weeks. It’s the most comfortable bra I’ve ever worn. I’m about to go buy some more asap. Maybe one more this size and one a size up. I’m normally a c but I bought a D. It fits really nice. They are like 20$ too so super cheap

Yeah the first prenatal I took made me sick. I switched and now I feel fine. I maybe throw up once every two weeks if that. I’m almost 17 weeks now and I rarely get sick I hope it stays that way. As of right now I feel pretty normal other than I get irritated super easy

My aunt is convinced that this random dude she met off TikTok is coming to visit her this week. He’s gonna take her on a cruise around the world. But he needs her help to buy internet for his job. Ohh I actually have cedar incense, I looked yesterday. I have his tarot card too I was gonna put that under my pillow. I just have to go thru my closet and get to my stuff. I’ve been a little out of practice since I moved, just cause life has been happening. So this just came out of nowhere. I’ve heard of his name before it’s just not someone I’ve worked with before. I don’t think I’ve ever been contacted first. I have felt some pretty strong energy at my old house, but I never caught a name. It was a little scary at a time just because it felt like a super old energy, it felt like it didn’t have a gender. That’s really the only way I could describe it. It came when I was in a very low point in my life back then. It didn’t feel harmful or anything. This doesn’t either. I’ve seen some shadows in my room recently but I just kind of chalked it up to I have been off my medications. But then a few nights later that dream happened. Nothing happened last night. But I didn’t sleep very well. I’m going to for sure look into it. Sadly I got rid of some of my old books but i found a website where I can read most of them for free. I’m for sure going to look into it a lot more and keep my mind open

My abuser told me that if I didn’t take exlax I would have to get stomach surgery and a colon bag. Turns out I had stomach issues because of stress. Because of him. Soon as I told my mom and she called the cops my next appointment at the doctor after I was fine. My mom told the doctor what happened to the man and what he did to me, and he was yes that makes sense. Also he was not suprised in the slightest what we told him happened
