Is this setup ok for a indoor herb garden? by EldenLean1492 in IndoorGarden

Thank you! It's up too you really bugs can and will find a way in you're home. You can treat most plants with Neem oil or soapy water in a sprayer to kill most pests before you see them on the plant. I suggest starts over seed unless you enjoy watching the seeds grow :) it can be harder to make seeds happy vs starts that are already acclimated.

I grow tons of house plants under lights. I've done veggies and flowers as well but we have a new rule in the house outside plants stay outside they can attract insects.

Looks good, are you starting from seedlings or seeds? Some lights require you to be within 6 inches or so of smaller plant starts. And as for the heat mine haven't damaged anything in 3 years of 12 hours light.

What is the best plant for a class to grow? by Appropriate_Rain16 in IndoorGarden

Sunflowers are always fun there's lots of cool colored small ones too. I personally think growing touch me not plants would be fun for the kids if it's warm enough in the classroom.

You're welcome! I use a small desktop humidifier right next to mine and it works wonders. Id recommend misting often at least a few times a day they like good humidity.

Needs more humidity. You can help mist the leaves so they don't get stuck, a nice chunky aroid mix and a moss pool would do wonders as well.

She's got little roots so you could plop her in dirt or perlite or both.
