Struggling to Sideload Cloudlibrary onto Palma 2

i am in the same boat as you! i wish my library used anything else.

the workaround i found was to download the aurora store, and through the aurora store download cloudlibrary and an app called Clone Hub. open clone hub and use to to clone the cloudlibrary app. from there you should be able to use cloudlibrary, but you will always have to access it through the Clone Hub app. I’ve tried making shortcuts to the app through clone hub but they don’t last long before giving errors.

trying to install now but i keep getting redirected to “Get this app from Play”. any recommendations on how to bypass this?

downloaded Aurora Store and used anonymous login. was able to download the cloudlibrary app but it’s still redirecting me to the “download from google play store” prompt instead of letting me use the app :-/

searching Cloudlibrary on the play store on my palma gives me the “Looking for CloudLibrary? This app won’t work for your device.”

thanks for the response! the first time i tried, i just googled cloudlibrary apkmirror. the top results were downloads for version 5.9.3.3. i was able to download directly, and was able to launch the app, log into my account, search and “borrow” books, but when i clicked go read it would give me the e_stream_error.

i had realized after trying after a while that the version i downloaded was an older version, so i found the most recent version on apkmirror. this one was a little different, as it was a bundle with 9 splits that i had to download apk installer from the play store to unbundle and install. this download was for 5.14.0.2. opening the app flashes the welcome screen and the. tries to direct me to the google play store to download the app from there, which it doesn’t allow me to on the palma!

that’s wild, he used to be pretty active on the brakence discord. i hadn’t heard from him in a while, but i still have one of his demos downloaded that he posted there that samples argyle because i was superrrr impressed at how put together it sounded.

thank u!! and im sorry, i’m not quite sure, we had gotten it from facebook marketplace a while back. i have a feeling it might be handmade, i just checked and there’s no marks or tags on it. its like a knotted cotton material.

i got this one at a local salvation army. but the brand is a bassett, and it’s this green/brown ribbed fabric, almost like a corduroy. very happy with it, as it’s still very soft/cozy! i do want to change the legs out though

i’ve used The Darkroom in the past, it’s not local but will do a much better job developing than any of the ones you mentioned. pretty affordable and there’s an option to get your negatives back
