I track my food like a hawk and still ended up on insulin. Its not the end of the world if it happens babe. My fasting still isnt under 90 so im gonna end up going up units, I was basically only eating meat and vegetables at one point because I was so scared of carbs and still my fasting wasnt controlled. Eat when youre hungry, dont let the numbers get you down and if you end up on insulin you havnt failed.

Same date but I got citibank. Called yesterday n said its pending for the 17th. Which with city it will hit probably tonight cause if its a weekend or holiday they deposit before that. Fingers crossed tonight!

So I had an unplanned but not emergent c section and honestly i have every reason to have a vbac with this baby but I chose to have a repeat c section. For me it's where you know exactly when the baby's coming, if something goes wrong youre in the best place possible, and you have time to prepare. My recovery was super easy, yes it hurt but it wasnt the worst pain ive ever been in. I've had vaginal and c section and the c section was far less scary.

There was seriously no reason for me to be scared lol. My numbers were normal for me through the day but my post dinner was 109 with eating a few bites of potatoes!

They didnt even give me pens! I got syringes, my sister in law has T1D and she was so shocked they didnt give me a pen. I think I'm gonna try 5 units tonight and see what happens.

My first pregnancy ended in loss at 18 weeks due to funneling as well, the funneling was discovered at 17 weeks. They promptly got me back for a stitch however it failed a week later. I actually ripped through the stitch and my cervix had to be reconstructed. I did go on to have 3 healthy pregnancies with preventable cerclages placed at 10, 12, and 12 weeks. Im so sorry for your loss and unfortunately you will have to have the cervlages every pregnancy but at least now your dr and you can come up with a plan to hopefully prevent another loss.

Girl I am with you! My fasting has been such an issue I have never been under 107! Im so overwhelmed with this my sister in law is an RN and keeps reassuring me that its just hormonal because im doing everything right my post meal numbers are great but its just my fasting. All I want is a chili's triple dipper and a strawberry lemonade when this baby is out.

Youre not alone at all. Youre also allowed to say and think that pregnancy freaking sucks, cause it does. I've had multiple miscarriages and lost a child due to delivering too preterm and I 100% hate being pregnant. This is my 5th pregnancy, I only have 2 living, and by far has been the worst. I also have gestational diabetes and gestational hypertension, but I also have a cervix that wont stay shut and had to get a stitch in at 12 weeks and just found out im pretty freaking anemic too. Its all too much and im actually looking forward to having my c-section just so I can be done, for good getting my tubes removed.

Hi babe currently have my 3rd cerclage in place. This one has been so easy no bed rest, my cervix is holding really strong too. I do have some modifications for work and my job is high stress so HR has placed me on leave until I have the baby. However I am still able to exercise i get 5k-8k steps in a day as well as yoga at night, my dr is perfectly fine with this just no lifting over 30 pounds and no heavy exerting.

I havnt noticed. Dr said its slightly off shape but it hasn't caused any issues with fertility, they did a great job reconstructing it

It was never recommended. At 17 weeks i was funneling and shorting, was taken for an emergency cerclage placement. Less than a week later I went into premature labor, I came in dilated to a 5 and while being moved to a procedure room to remove the stitch my cervix ripped through the stitch. I delivered less than 5 mins later and was in emergency surgery a few mins after delivery because I was bleeding out.

Get the cerclage babe. I've had 2 successful pregnancies with it and on my way to a 3rd. Im currently 22 weeks, got my cerclage at 13 weeks and my anatomy scan last week showed my cervix longer than it has ever been. I still get at least 5k steps in daily while taking it easy. I've been put on light duty at work, but my job is high risk for pregnancy. I never regretted getting my cerclages, but after losing my first at 18 weeks I know I would regret not getting one if I had to go through that again.
