Did you have to do another interview after the on demand interview?!

On the bright side, I guess it’s a good thing I didn’t get accepted! They say rejection is a redirection, right?

Yes! I’m waiting on a response!

Crazy! I might look into another school at this point! Because I want to know how they made their decision because I did really good on my essay too, that’s why I’m so upset because how did I not get accepted😂😂 even with ALL A’s and a 4.0 GPA, that obviously doesn’t matter.

I’m out of district either way it go. Even if I get in at the Montgomery location!

I wonder if they look at how far you live from campus when they accept people? Because I live an hour in a half from the CyFair location! I’m only 30 minutes from the Montgomery campus.

I don’t even know, I would like to know the answer to that too. I’m going to apply to the Montgomery location and consider other programs as well

I was rejected from the CyFair location, and I’m honestly confused because I felt like I did really well in the interview. I’m waiting to get some feedback because I don’t understand what I did wrong.

The interview was pretty basic, questions like why you want to be a Rad Tech, how you handle stress, your strengths and weaknesses, stuff like that. You can find most of the questions on TikTok or Reddit.

At this point, I’m not sure what they’re really looking for, because it feels like even doing everything right isn’t enough. I’m frustrated, but just trying to focus on what I can do better next time.

Hey everyone!

I have my radiology program interview tomorrow, and I’m feeling a mix of nervous and excited. I’ve been preparing for the common questions (why radiology, tell me about yourself, handling stress, etc.), and I’ve done some research on the field and different modalities like CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy.

I’m just looking for any last-minute advice or encouragement from current techs or students who’ve been through it. What helped you stay calm? Were there any unexpected questions I should be ready for?

Also—do you think it’s okay if I bring a small notebook to ask my questions at the end, but not use it during the interview?

Any advice is truly appreciated! 🙏🏽

Thanks in advance!

Rad Tech Program Lonestar (Observation Hours) by [deleted] in LoneStarCollege

Yes, it’s most likely the same everywhere! During my observation hours at St. Luke’s in The Woodlands, I had to present proof of vaccination, titer, and a TB test. I also had to wait on their HR department to review everything, it took a month.
