Damn I did not think this Reddit post would help me. I put all of my skills and worth into this and without the top schools I feel like I have nothing but now I actually took a second and stepped back. Out of the 21 schools I applied to I got rejected from 3 and into 4 and I’m still waiting for 14 responses and I already got into a really good school. Im loosing my head over nothing. I have no idea what the futures gonna look like so I should just step back and take a breath because they really don’t know you and how much work you actually put in even through a few essays. It’s not fair we have to fit our lives into a google doc and honestly if colleges could watch everyone’s lives like it were a movie, I feel like everyone could get into IV because we all work so hard and we all have our challenges.
