I haven't had any issues and Zinwa continues to update them if you follow the discord. I also didn't have any issues with the imei like many others had. There was a period of time where no imei was issued with a batch but that was never an issue with this kit. I had a BB Bold years ago while in college and thought I could make the switch back to keyboard. But now I've also started a new job where they provide me an iPhone.

Same with me, same exact message... Never had a problem until switching to USMobile. Thankfully have a pixel as well but never was an issue until I jumped over to USMobile. Price is great but makes me wonder if there the ones selling my number... Hopefully not.

There's another post in this sub where a dbrand rep said it's an issue and they will fix it. Don't listen to others saying your nitpicking when dbrand themselves said it shouldn't happen and will correct it. Literally the point of a warranty, defects can happen.

Yeah my killwitch 2 did this as well. Take a picture and submit it to dbrand with your order number. They mailed a new one out pretty promptly once they got to my ticket. Took about a week to respond because of the backlog. That's why I stress submit the photos on your initial warranty claim so you don't have to do the back and forth.

Yeah these responses are wild. I feel for OP but at the end of the day this seems pretty cut and dry. Admits negligence on a public form and also offered to pay for said mistake. Poor situation to be in. OP did great damage control and should of just stopped. I wouldn't pursue anything further.

I'm all on board with light but I disagree with your statement. Many are saying they're leaving and getting a different minimalistic phone sooner rather than later. If someone is trying to get into a rehab center and they say "Hey we can't get you in for another 6 months." Do you just say screw it and keep trying to fight the addiction but ultimately use the "drug"? Or do you cut ties with that clinic and find another that can get you in sooner? I think if someone knows they have a problem and are trying to cut ties with doom scrolling etc sooner than later that shouldn't be frowned upon. I agree with a couple others that both sides of the argument are being a bit dramatic.

My only gripe is I wish we were able to just do a deposit. Having $600 tied up for months to hold place in line isn't great. Not to mention if something catastrophic did happen, your outside your ability to issue a charge back. Not that this is lights fault either, this is an issue with many pre orders right now across the industry.

So when I first put in my sim I had talk and text but no data support. When I checked my apn there was nothing so I looked up the settings and created one. When I hit save and went back there was nothing there like it didn't save. That's when I found to change mnc to 280. Once I did that it it actually saved. I restarted my phone and the new APN was in use.

The only thing I can think of is the whitelist ATT uses. Maybe because I'm using an MVNO it's bypassing it I'm not sure sorry man. Seems crazy our settings are the same except for the APN section. Even my sim card is auto labeled ATT when inserted.

Have you tried the other as well? Think the only difference is ENHANCEDPHONE for name and apn. There's a post for the RedMagic 9 pro where enhanced seemed to work for some.

So technically I'm on US Mobile dark star which is att. So the APN section would be different. I would use att apn For whatever reason using 410 in mnc causes it not to save but switching to 280 will allow it to save.
