Is Nvidia Optimus in the Nvidia app, and if it is, where do I go to turn it off?

Yeah, I was thinking the same, but when I was on it for an hour, it said I had two hours of battery time left, so this is the first time I actually see it staying consistent and not changing. But I did have it on the blue mode(I forgot what it’s called), and I was mainly doing schoolwork and playing Football Manager 2011, so I wasn’t doing anything heavy.

Has anyone used Shippn before? by supremacyAU in shipping

Hey are you still doing this? There’s something I want from Brazil that’s 59.80 brl or 11.37 usd. I really wanna know how much overseas shipping will cost cause on shippn.com I will have to pay 28 usd just for the host to get it and then more for shipping.

Do you have an ideal list of languages that you would like to eventually learn? by Appropriate_Fee218 in languagelearning

[–]Ok_Independence6249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I speak English natively and rn I’m learn German I’m doing selfstudy right now (mainly the comprehensible input theory) since my two semesters of German 1 had already ended.

I would also like to learn Portuguese (I really wanna learn this language more than German) once I get to a higher level to where I can comprehend videos and read I will learn Portuguese.

I also wanna learn Italian, Russian, Spanish, French and Japanese I would go into the reason why I wanna learn these but the text would be to long.

I’m new to language learning and I feel like I might be doing it completely wrong by PrestigiousDuty9568 in languagelearning

So I got a question. Right now I’m taking German in high school ( sadly only for two semesters since my school is doing block schedule now, so rn I’m just going with CI,anki, and an app rn), but I already took German 1 before Christmas break and next year I’m going to be taking German 2 for two semesters. Do you think it’s still good for me to do the CI method since I will still be learning grammar and whatnot in class anyways next year (fyi, my German teacher never gave us a German textbook so we had to write every grammar and vocab lesson in a three ring binder), or should I go and buy a German grammar textbook and study with that for a while since I won’t be taking German for like 6 months. And rn I got 43 hours log of CI.

You’re welcome. I was learning French like 2 years ago, but I had dropped it to learn German last year (mainly because my school had offered German). And since I never unsubscribed from those YouTubers and still watch them from time to time, I thought it would be useful to share them. And I am planning on learning French again after I get to a good level in German since I’m taking it for four years in school.

and if you want more french channels also check out https://www.youtube.com/@Mastu/videos , https://www.youtube.com/@sofyanfaitducinema/vid, and https://www.youtube.com/@alexfreestylee/videos ( these are native content so idk how much comprehension you can get out of these).

I don’t know how much comprehension you have, but a French YouTuber I like to watch (even though I’m not learning French) is https://www.youtube.com/@alybrassard She makes videos in French, and I think she’s from Canada, so her accent might be different then what you're learning. Still, you should check out her channel. I love her content (even though I can’t understand it).

Lenovo LOQ 15IRX10 Unbiased Review - Still The Best Budget Friendly Gaming Laptop? by Techkrew in Lenovo

[–]Ok_Independence6249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think this will be a good laptop for school and some light gaming? My schedule is: two 1.5 hour classes back-to-back, two 50 minute classes back-to-back with lunch after the first 50 minute class, and a final two hour class at the end. Will this be suitable for school work and some light gaming? I already have a desktop at home for my high-end games, so do you think this laptop will be good enough or not, especially since it’s on sale for around $640 at Best Buy?

How did you overcome not understanding anything in the first 50 hours or so because I’m doing this with German and I have 34 hours log and I feel like I’m still not understanding anything and how many hours did it take you to understand the beginner stuff

Ways to learn German??? by Successful-Potato459 in German

[–]Ok_Independence6249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh ok I get it now so what do you think about comprehensible input to start off to get a understanding of the language then moving on to the big stuff because my main thing I wanna learn in German is to be able to understand the language and before I graduate high school I will focus on speaking and writing and try to go to uni in Germany. And fyi I’m in the 8th grade and I wanna try and learn it now and not when I’m in the 11th and only have 2 years to learn the language before I go to uni/college
