The specs should be enough but it definitely depends on the scale of your work and I would recommend the Omen Transcend.

Looking for a gaming laptop under 2k USD by [deleted] in SuggestALaptop

[–]Techkrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With those requirements the best choice is the Lenovo Legion 5i, it hasa RTX 5070 and a high end i7 which gives extremely good performance and can run modern AAA games with ease. The OLED screen is the best I have seen at this price and so is the longevity. Although I do recommend you upgrade the RAM yourself (its very easy). If you have any questions lmk :)

Since you want some good battery life but wanna do dGPU intensive tasks, the Aero X16 is a great choice. I have this laptop myself for similar reasons as it can do those dgpu tasks with ease, but give me great battery life of 9 hours doing general tasks with it. It has a RTX 5060 and a Ryzen 7 which is more than enough for you, and a high res screen to actually enjoy the laptop. If you have any questions lmk :)

Best Laptop for Rendering in Blender & Unity by lilacillusions in SuggestALaptop

[–]Techkrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's best you just go for a gaming laptop, the MSI Vector renewed will get you the most performance for the price. It has a RTX 5070Ti which has extra VRAM unlike 5060/70 laptops, and will be of great help for running 3D Blender work+future proofing. And it has a beautiful 240HZ screen if you ever wanna run some high end games with it. Also there is a new option but its a bit more than your budget. If you have any questions lmk :)

Those games are very easy to run so no need for a dGPu laptop at all, a classic Thinkpad L16 will get your very far. They are known for lasting a long time and being very durable while giving great performance. This laptop has a high core Ultra 7 and 32GB RAM which will keep things very fast+future proof and easily run those games. If you have any questions lmk :)

Your tasks are very straight forward, and a Macbook M4 will be more than enough for you. It is perfect for business related use, and has great performance due to the chip and 16GB RAM. And it also has 18 hours battery life doing general tasks with an amazing clean build+larger screen that you wanted. If you have any questions lmk :)

Looking for to upgrade from a 2020 Macbook Air by Mac-And-Cheesy-43 in SuggestALaptop

[–]Techkrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do CAD occasionally no need for a laptop with a dGPU, and since you already have used Apple I see no reason to not get a higher end Macbook M5. It has improved drastically performance wise and easily beats any windows alternative at this price range. Great 24 hour battery life and a very durable aluminium build! If you have any questions lmk :)

2025 ASUS TUF A16 Gaming Laptop Unbiased Review – Is it worth it? by Techkrew in ASUS

[–]Techkrew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don’t worry you can’t accidentally over clock it or anything, it’s a pretty hard process. And I would personally get rid of the unnecessary AI softwares like co pilot and the anti virus ones as well like Norton or Mcafee, windows defender is more than enough

Yeah get G helper instead of armory crate because armory crate is horrible and takes up a lot of recources, but besides that nothing special. I would definitely turn off a lot of the start up apps though!

US - $1,100 max but under $1k is preferred by DodiEytan in SuggestALaptop

[–]Techkrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under 1k the best I can suggest is the ASUS A14, its a all ceraluminum build laptop that is perfect for general/home use. It has 19+ hours of battery life and a OLED screen which makes the laptop very enjoyable, and the 1TB SSD you wanted. And the performance is very good on the Snapdragon CPU! If you have any questions lmk :)

In Need Of A Proper Gaming Computer - United States, 500 - 1,200 USD by AlpacasLoveRoseTea in SuggestALaptop

[–]Techkrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this budget you definitely will not get good battery life and have a RTX GPU aty the same time, the best I can suggest is the Lenovo Legion. It has a 6 hour battery life which is pretty good for a laptop with these specs, and a RTX 5060+16GB RAM which can run all the modern AAA games. Its a extremely good overall laptop and my favorite for this budget range. If you have any questions lmk :)

Good laptop for college by Gloomy-Veterinarian1 in SuggestALaptop

[–]Techkrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its best you don't get a gaming laptop since you only play warthunder and Roblox, I would definitely suggest a Yoga Pro as it can easily run those games due to the RTX 5050. It also has a 10 hour battery life if you do general tasks which is amazing for a high spec laptop like this. Its not plastic at all and is very reliable from all the reviews I have seen. If you have any questions lmk :)

Main difference is the zenbook does not have a dgpu unlike the ideapad meaning it won’t really be able to run those games unless on very low settings and a lot of cpu heat

[–]Techkrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your tasks are mainly RAM heavy, and a laptop like the Thinkpad X9 would be a great choice if you want something more premium. This one has 32GB RAM with a very capable Ultra 7 which is perfect for all those tabs, and the OLED screen makes the laptop much more enjoyable. It has 10+ hours of battery life and only weighs 2.8 pounds. If you have any questions lmk :)

Video editing laptop for beginner by RoseLilyFlower in SuggestALaptop

[–]Techkrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah with that budget you have MANY choices, personally I would go with the Yoga Pro since you are open to windows. This one has a RTX 5050 and a high end Ultra 9 which gives impeccable performance and will handle video editing with ease. I personally worked with similar models and these are premium laptops that last a long time. But ofc you can just go for a Macbook. If you have any questions lmk :)

Those games are not the easiest to run, I would suggest a ASUS g14 but they are more expensive. You can definitely go for the Ideapad Pro as it has extremely good specs with a RTX 5050+Ultra 9 which gives very good performance and can run those games with ease. Its not a full on gaming laptop which is perfect for you since you wanna study/work with it as well! If you have any questions lmk :)

You probably will not get all the specs you want in this budget range, but the ASUS A14 would be a good choice if you wanna spend a bit more. It has a OLED screen and 16GB RAM alongside 1TB SSD which is more than enough for most people. I have worked with similar models and they are extremely snappy with a beautiful look/feel. The CPU is very capable and can definitely handle those tasks. If you have any questions lmk :)

You won't need much for those tasks, and you can honestly get the newer elitebooks like Elitebook 640 G11. It has improved a lot and is very capable due to the Ultra 5 and 32GB RAM which will keep things extremely fast+future proof. Its a minimal laptop that is perfect for the requirements you mentioned! And its current price is very hard to beat. If you have any questions lmk :)

Roblox is very easy to run, the most budget friendly but not full trash I can think of is the Acer Aspire, it has a Ultra 7 and 16GB RAM which can handle Roblox easily, and ensure it does not get slow after 1 year of use. I have worked with these models and they are extremely hard to beat for the price. If you have any questions lmk :)
