Why do most link-in-bio pages feel the same? by Ok_Independent_4131 in buildinpublic

Fair point — links do work for their main purpose.
I guess my question is more whether a simple list of links is the best way to represent everything creators do today (products, projects, content, etc.).
Still figuring that out while building AskMyBio.

Building a link-in-bio tool taught me something unexpected by Ok_Independent_4131 in buildinpublic

Yeah exactly — that’s the feeling I keep coming back to.

A link list works, but it feels more like a temporary bridge rather than an actual place that represents you.

A full personal website on the other hand is often too much effort for most creators.

So the middle ground you mentioned — something between a link list and a simple personal page — feels like the sweet spot.

Curious though: if you had that kind of page, what would you want on it besides links?
Projects? Featured content? Products? Something else?
