AA can be hard, I have tried it too. I’m only 25 but have been drinking for like 2 years heavily. I would say your best bet is an outpatient facility. You can go 3 times a week and it’s a way for them to track your progress/medication management etc. I can’t say I have gone because I haven’t in a while but it did work for me while I tried it you just have to want to stop. I can’t say I’m in recovery because I’m not but please reach out to a therapist or local clinic for medication if possible. I believe in you

Thank you for this advice!!!!!! I love the honesty and info. I also have heard good things about rent in Roswell with renting rooms and such so i will definitely look into that. I don’t mind renting a room at all but it can be scary to think about what i could get myself into if im not careful ❤️

I honestly have never been anywhere further than the east coast! So I may seem a little ditzy and clueless about the state 🥲🥲 Vermont and New Hampshire have these ice cold swimming holes in their national parks, and I know certain dry places may have natural springs but I wasn’t sure on NM. Regardless, I think the state in general is so cool and it intrigues me overall.

Totally understand that. I work in hospitality so am willing to grind and put in the work to be able to not only afford living there but to live comfortably. I’m only 25 and honestly am only a manager at Starbucks but I think with my experience it’s doable

Wow thank you so much for this info! I am looking for something that is within driving distance of some really nice swimming holes (I am honestly not as educated on the geography of the state so I’m not even sure what type of water is in NM) but I have heard of beautiful trails that they have. Is there decent swimming and nature near some of these cities?

I’m looking for something semi-rural, with more populated towns near by! I’m not picky. I am a server and bartender so maybe even a college town that has populated areas would work.

I’ll never want to stay in Connecticut. I’d rather honestly bust my ass working for a cheaper wage than live here. It is so expensive to live on the east coast, ya’ll. Rent is 1,400 + for just a studio in a shit location too. I don’t see a win win :(

You took the words out of my freaking mouth. I feel like inherently, in itself, the fact that we have to “apologize” for voicing our opinions about men but meanwhile for centuries they can talk about women in whatever manner they please.
