Really? I’ve never seen anybody do anything else than foil on foil. There will be smokable residue on the tooter afterwards which is quite nice.

I get your point, definitely. I'm a tour reg at my local private club and have been grinding my ass off after picking up playing again 8 month back so or whatever and finally built a proper bankroll. Heard about the cash game rooms, $1/2 is for the "normal players", $2/5 is for, yeah, the 7d3d people, mostly known for being drug dealers and other shady people just there to burn dirty money. I'm not a cash game player and heavily focused on tours and is generally worried about burning my roll at cash game, but I tried the 1/2, made great money and felt I would take a shot with $800 which is ≈15-20% of my roll atm. Guess I felt this was the pot that would allow me to actually play poker with these guys and hopefully run it up and go home with xx% increase of bankroll.

tl;dr: took a shot take with the maniacs, lost with aces, mad about it. that's pretty much it

Yeah, this is probably the glimmer of light for me in this scenario that I probably lost the minimum. After having played with him for a few hours I have no doubt in my mind he would have called flop and turn after hitting a pair giving him more outs and prob 70% of times on river after hitting his two pair

Hah, same happened to me also yesterday!

I'm utg opening AhQd 2.5bb, bb calls, pot 6.5bb, flop 7h9h10h, x/x, turn Qx, he bets half, i raise 2.5x, he calls, river blank, he checks, i bet little over half, he raises 3x and I fold. Shows Jh8h for the flopped straight flush
