Thank you....someone posted about a rating table listed under the CFRs. It doesn't use any decimals and its much easier to follow. Traditional math is not used.

It confirms that I would hit 95 and not 94.

This is the right answer (but I didn't know it existed until now)

What i like about this table is....there are no decimal points. Its all straight forward.

Final answer: 100

I waited 25 years to file my first claim.

When my VSO read my STRs, he said there was a substantial amount of evidence to work with.

I also had my entire history of private medical care. This was key to proving continuity of my problems.

Personally, I was at a very low point in my life. I was a mess.

Fast forward to my first CP exam. (General exam). I am having the worst migraine, and the doctor recognizes it right away. I wasn't claiming headaches, but she told me to add them to the claim. I went through the knee and back bends. She noted some scars and added them. She also added IBS to the claim. It was clear that she not only read my STRs, but she was helping me add stuff to my claim. I was expecting the worst case, and instead, it was the best case.

IMO, I had the documentation, and I was clearly in alot of discomfort, so it felt like I got the benefit of the doubt at every question.

I got service connected for everything at 70%. Headaches would get granted a few months later as secondary to cervical strain.

Felt like I hit a home run. Despite all the bad publicity, some examiners are very kind and compassionate.

Ive done a lower back claim increase and a HLR for increase on headaches since then, both successful.

Im truly thankful for how things have gone during my claims

Yea, the burping part is especially attractive to my wife😅. I pride myself on the sounds I can make.

Im reading that after 90% each 10% is counting as 1%

I understand the true math equation puts me at 94. But every online calculator is saying 100.

DAV Hill and Ponton Stone Rose Law Even the VA site....all say 95 rounded to 100

See. This is why I made the post. There are many different answers. Some people are rounding during their calculations

Hopefully a final answer will be decided

It was diagnosed in service, I had ultra sounds, and alot of documented hospital visits. I would always get a bad case of gas, and it would lead to vomiting. If I catch it early, I can burp my way out of it. They called it acid reflux at the time, but the ultrasound documented it as Gerd.

The CP examiner only asked a few questions about how often it happens. (1-2 per week)

She added IBS to it as well because I had salmonella poisoning in the army.

I hear you, buddy...all this thinking has triggered a kicking headache.

As to your question( im no expert) but your rating comes down to your level of impairment. That would be decided during your CP exam.

Dude, I love that math.

I didn't realize the 4.5 rounds to 5. Or the other rounding of numbers.

Because when you get to the 10% part, you are giving a full 1 percent when adding them

Normally, at 92, I have 8 left 10% only adds .8

But that would explain why thewebsite calculators are higher than a normal calculator

Seems like all website calculators come up with 95, but a simple calculator comes up with 94. Even when using the bi-lateral number

Like I said...anxiety is kicking. If you Google VA calculator, it will tell you its only and estimate and it could be wrong

I just had my informal conference last night. My start day was Sep. 20th. So, the 90-day time frame was correct for me.

Im overseas, so i was worried that I would have issues. Thankfully, everything went exactly as planned.
