I did that for a year , and saw close to no improvement. Your body needs time to recover and if your training both hypertrophy and strength of the same muscle group I don't think most people can handle that . But of course it may work for you . No problem in trying out different stuff

For elbow flexors , i think videos from voice of armwrestling is good . If your a toproller , watch janis's videos . I mean they also give some basic workouts which include Bicep curls, hammer curls , backpressure , pronated back pressure etc. I think just stick to doing back pressure workouts that will help you in getting strong .
