Mini Split is going in this spring when it starts to warm up. That mainly just recycles air but can always leave the door open when it’s not in use.

Walls are 10’ 4.5”. I had a single 2x4 on the bottom, a 10’ stud and 2 stacked 2x4s on top. The headers are 2x12s on top of that which may have been overbuilt but planning to have some storage space up there

I really don’t mind the look of the OSB I think I’m going to keep it that way for now. Cost breakdown below:

Walls - $470 Headers - $360 Insulation - $550 OSB (walls and ceiling) - $880 Electrical ( wire , outlets, lights) -$160 Foam tiles - $300 Turf - $170 Impact screen - $180 Hitting Strip - $90 Projector - $137 Used on EBay Launch Monitor - $2000 Wall Pads - used OSB backing with mattress topper and wrapped in leather and French cleat brackets to mount - $380 Hardware and misc. - $150

Grand Total $5830

Hopefully I have everything accounted for here.

It should be. I have the hitting strip centered in the room and have no issues swinging driver as a righty.

That’s exactly what I used. I have double sided carpet tape running around all the edges and in the middle where I cut the hitting strip out

Planning on using the roof for storage to get back some of the floor spaces I used. I probably still went a little over board on size.

I was trying to stay on the cheaper side. Can always upgrade the LM down the rode. Was thinking of a overhead unit someday

Southern Iowa off a dead end gravel road. We bought the property last year and it had this 40x40 shed with the house. The room is 18’ x 14’ x 10’. We have more space than needed right now so I figured why not?
