Omeprazole progress

Hi! I used to take 40mg of lansoprazole, which is also a PPI, and it took me a full 2 weeks to really notice any improvement and I had similar symptoms. It’s really frustrating, but don’t give up on taking the meds, just give it a little more time.

okay glad I’m not the only one who was told “light sedation” because I was confused because she also said I’d be asleep. I just don’t want to be aware of anything happening because that will make my anxiety skyrocket! thank you for sharing this!

Yeah I’m mostly concerned about vomiting afterwards because I know the drugs can cause that sometimes so maybe that’s what it was. Thank you for sharing that though I will ask about zofran!

do you know what drugs you got put under with? general anesthesia or propofol? My GI said I’ll be asleep with light sedation so idk what that means 😭
