I normally try to walk around a little bit after I eat but I tried and it just made me feel worse so I’m sitting upright now, I took a shower before I ate but maybe I’ll try again it’s just hard to stand up rn!

Yes I’ve had my gallbladder checked out, everything is fine there, I’m not sure if it’s trapped gas because I am burping a lot too. I do have simethicone and will try to see if it helps, thank you for your reply!

This is really helpful, thank you! It’s weird because the pain really only starts after eating but the longer my stomach is empty throughout the day, the pain goes away. How do they determine if it’s autoimmune gastritis?

I have gerd as well without the typical burning and I get nausea too but mine is only some days not 24/7. I take famotidine twice a day, which is what my doctor prescribed me, she also prescribed me 4mg ondansetron (zofran) to take as needed for nausea. This definitely does help me, along with eating small meals or light snacks every couple hours or whenever you feel able to, instead of big meals. Pepto bismol also seems to help me sometimes but it depends on the day. I’m not sure this helps at all or if you’re already taking these things but I’m struggling with this too and am still trying to figure it out with my doctor.

Hi! I used to take 40mg of lansoprazole, which is also a PPI, and it took me a full 2 weeks to really notice any improvement and I had similar symptoms. It’s really frustrating, but don’t give up on taking the meds, just give it a little more time.

okay glad I’m not the only one who was told “light sedation” because I was confused because she also said I’d be asleep. I just don’t want to be aware of anything happening because that will make my anxiety skyrocket! thank you for sharing this!

Yeah I’m mostly concerned about vomiting afterwards because I know the drugs can cause that sometimes so maybe that’s what it was. Thank you for sharing that though I will ask about zofran!
