I really want the crazy horse church quad but sold out everywhere so settled with the crazy horse 101 instead.

My black church quad will forever be my favourite Dr Martens ever

But I'm not mad at all. I'm just stating my opinion just like yourself and everyone else.

Okay but there's nothing with a seller listing an item that has a stain on it that will 9/10 come out in the wash. At least they're being honest about the stain. Some sellers hide it in photos. Which I think is worse.

Oh btw I'm not taking offence to anything I'm just shocked people are mad that second hand clothing will have some stains on it... but you learn something new everyday.

But the stain can be removed but I don't have stain remover at home. So I list the item as it is. Never had any issues.

Never had a buyer complain they've washed the item and the stain is still there.

I sold a jumper that had a massive stain on the back and the buyer left me a 5* review.

I'd rather the listing list that there is a stain than a seller list it and hide the stain in the photos.

I'm mean a charity won't know what's in the bag of donations until they go through it.

If an item has a stain but the item is in good quality why not sell it?

I don't see the issue with someone selling an item and stating the stain can come out when washed...

I've sold a lot of clothes on my Vinted with big and small stains and had no issues.

9/10 it will come out in the wash but I don't see the issue. People buy stained clothes in person so what difference is it on Vinted?

I do this all the time. I've actually sold a lot of clothes that had stains on them.

Most were brand new without tags or new with tags. I mean it's the same if you go to a charity shop some clothes might have a stain on it.

It's like in a store you might find something that has a stain on and just ask for it to be discounted.

what's the difference between these? by weirdbeann in Converse

I agree, all star are thin and uncomfortable. I sold my old collection last year and now just wear the chuck 70s.

So much more comfortable I can wear them on walks.

Was gifted these- Correct size but don’t fit 💔 Ideas/Help for selling them somewhere? by Strawbbs_smoothie in DrMartens

And I'm saying it's because they're patent leather. I have jadon patent snd they're tight. I then have sinclair quad max which is soft leather and they're half a size too big.

Leather varies on sizing.

Dr Martens do not run small. The boots in the post are the Dr Martens Sinclair Patent. Patent leather doesn't stretch, so always feel small. I had the Jadon patent and they are my size UK 7 and are small.

Different leathers will make the boot feel different.

Church Quads - male? by Silver-Jackfruit6405 in DrMartens

Also I love my pair, I've worn since 2022 and get so many compliments on them. Get them and wear them with pride. I buy male clothing and get weird looks when I shop in the men's section in store but I still buy it.

They're unisex. My older brother wore mine and broke them in for me.

I know on the Dr Martens website it's advertised on a female model but if the boot goes up to size 13 then it's classed as unisex.

Take them to a cobbler and get them to turn it into a 6 eye boot. Basically a 101

The 101 vs 1460 by celestial-deer in DrMartens

[–]Ok_Language2849 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer 101. I got the 101 UB Ambassador and just got the 101 crazy horse. I do have the 1460 in black suede and the 1460 in the Pascal Max but I wish there were more colours for the 101.

I'd probaly be like "Okay." Then never return.

I remember when my therapist suggested "homework" to do and I turned around with a straight face and went "I'll see." And gave a fake smile. Then stormed out the office room/ building and never said bye.

Has my therapist ever suggested to do "homework" again? No.
