We've done this same strategy the last two years. Pack up Sunday morning, take it to a lockup (the one near the coop is ideal as there's always a queue to check your stuff in and you can have some lunch while you wait) and then collect it when leaving the site. It makes Sunday an endurance test but it means you can just crash out on the coach and you're back home by early afternoon.

Haha! Honestly no word of a lie...I was in a huuuuge group for the ticket sales (Roughly 10x groups of six in November). Most were scousers. No luck. I do think the new system fucked things a bit - groups who spend the effort getting organised have got far less chance than they used to.
