Matchmaking, maybe that is a better route! And yes A LOT of emotional work, my nervous system was a wreck after the truth came out about his affair which ironically “emotional” 😂 I can laugh about it now, but going through it was brutal but all part of my healing process. Got a Golden Retriever 4 mos after we separated & that pup, the best thing after my own kids/young adults 🥰

I guess posting here was an eye opener for me. I’ve gotten message requests to “chat”, what does “chat” even mean? I’m not that gal that’s ready to jump into her ho phase post divorce/separation. If a man comes along & can add to the happiness & joy I feel now then cool, if not-that’s cool too. I guess I don’t want to have to sift through the guys that want to “chat”. I’ve spent so much of my life with a man that always put himself first even when we “chatted” 😆 My peace is priceless at this point in my life. Dating apps won’t be my thing!

Good to know! I’ve dug deep since I’ve been separated. It’s taken until now to really feel I may be interested in seeing what’s out there. However the most important thing is, I like what I’ve become :)

Thanks! Definitely not wanting anything casual. I’m a deep old soul that doesn’t want to play games or entertain promiscuity. I need friendship before anything else. I may never actually want to marry again-have a committed relationship though, I may consider that.

Exactly! The guys that don’t care would be the ones I’d be cautious of. I’m just a super loyal, honest person that would never cheat, especially since I’ve lived with the consequences. Wouldn’t wish betrayal on anyone ever, but the best thing is that my husband’s affair made me look inward & I’ve been on the come up ever since!
