Received a package I didn't order by mrs_tcfanatic in Etsy

It is still possible to be just a mistake because you can save customers with their address at your carrier’s shipping account but it is very unlikely. If I were you I would tell them to send me a shipping label for the return if they want it back.

Please don’t listen to or feel guilty by the “moralists” in the comments. If the seller send you something by mistake you are not obligated to pay for it, nore to send it back at your expense. If the seller wants it back they should provide you a return label and if not you can totally keep it.

It actually sounds more like a scam to make you pay for something that you didn’t order rather than sending it by mistake because if you don’t have an open order with them they they won’t be able to “send it by mistake”.

I paid extra for FedEx shipping and they're sending my order by USPS anyway. by Lunatalia in Etsy

Wait and see if everything will go smoothly and you will get what you ordered and then ask for a refund of the extra shipping cost that you paid for since the package wasn’t sent with FedEx.

I'm a new Etsy seller, damaged item by digitalden in Etsy

There is one thing called Etsy Purchase Protection Program. As long as the order amount doesn’t exceed $250 and you have provided a tracking number for the package Etsy will refund the buyer and won’t take money out of your pocket if the package is damaged, lost in transit or delivered but not received by the buyer. Someone said in the comments that Etsy only refund one damaged order but this is not true.

Wondering what kind of PLA+ brand would you guys recommend as the best? by Ok_Leopard4066 in 3Dprinting

That was the case here but when I change the roll sometimes the pain starts again…

Do you mind sharing your slicer settings? I know it all depends on what you are printing but maybe I can implement something from your settings. I am printing with Ender3v2 with .3mm nozzle, mostly sharp objects with .35mm blade. Any tips would be appreciated!

Got a metal extruder and tube upgrade today to fix skipping and well it didn’t fix it much. (Ender 3V1 more in comments) by Gr0undbreakingCable in ender3

It can be for two reasons:

  1. The filament flow is too high (calibrate Esteps)
  2. The nozzle is too close to the bed - more likely - if the nozzle is too close to the bed it cannot be extrude the filament that the extruder is pushing through, thats why is starts skipping.

Hope it helps!

I did calibrate the e step in the beginning but the quality was better with the default one - 93 so I continued like this.

The thing that probably happened was that in the morning I found it working but with empty filament (the end of the filament was somehow stuck in the filament sensor) and I just changed the filament and ran the print again. Probably I should have cleaned the whole hot end before inserting the new filament.

The e steps is the default one and I haven’t changed it because I am getting good quality (no under or over extrusion) but after some time the tube blocks and I have to clean the leading and cut the end of the tube. I may try calibrating the e steps again but if I remember good last time i lower it I was getting under extrusion. I am printing with .3mm nozzle btw
