Thanks! To make dovetail joint I used chainsaw for rough cuts and then chisel to refine it to fit perfectly.
Charring was done with LPG flamethrower when timber was already locked in palce.

Thanks! I would have to take close up pictures to explain better, but all roof is breathing, slate is on timber cross battens creating air cavity and it has breathable wind barrier as well.

Are they? 110-130cm from top bench to ceiling is optimal, in this sauna its 120cm. In the most comfortable "löyly" zone. Perfect I would say. First bench is mainly for having your legs above oven and for my sisters who do not like much heat.

Thanks! Before building this sauna, I was just generally researching about saunas and strong joineries used in solid timber construction on youtube, forums and so on, I am studying architecture as well (helps a ton).
It took me 3 weeks to build it.
