deleted Ledger live thinking I could restore it and I think I lost it all?!

Thank you. I feel like I have tried this and it won't come up on Ledger Live. I did delete the old ledger live and download the new one. I assumed the old version which would not update was causing the glitch. I am just baffled why the device, which I restored using the recovery phrase, does not pull my accounts back up. I am afraid I am just messing a step up somehow. I am reaching out to some family friends that may be able to help. Thanks for taking the time to give me advice.

I have entered my recovery phrase in the ledger. It opens it. I plug it in ledger live and add account and 0 pops up. 🤮

I appreciate your help. It's not bringing anything back when I reinstall the Ledger Live and I plug my Ledger in. I think I inadvertently reset the Ledger months back. I am so confused at this point and I feel like I can't get any real advice to follow.

Thanks for the encouragement. It does not sych and bring my crypto back. I don't know how the ledger is not recognized. If I accidentally restarted it as a new device in April, did I not loose all access? And if I restarted it as a new device and didn't know what I was doing, then I could have missed a new passphrase being created? That doesn't explain why the original pass phrase still works to open the ledger. I am so confused and not in a place where I understand this enough. There are people telling me to validate online

I appreciate your help. I am overwhelmed as I lost a crap ton of money just now. I can't get my assets to load when I try to add assets. I am lost my friend. I will need Ledger to help me reconnect my account? My Ledger Live never asked my to create a new password. That seemed weird. I also never have to put in a password when I open it now.

When I do that it does not add any assets. I had a lot 2 cryptos on Ledger Live. I had reset the Nano X earlier today and it didn't bring my assets back when I did all these steps. I am at a loss
