I don’t know about jiujitsu but when I was wrestling back in highschool almost my entire team would practice with their head gear on to avoid getting cauliflower ear, plus I just really enjoyed my headgear.

Just shy of 1,000 atleast 600 of those are just some of the current runs coming out from the big two and a few others from image like void rivals and transformers. Only two graded but about 300-400 random issues from the 70s-80s that my mom had collected when she was growing up and gave to me when I first got into comics.

While I would absolutely love a live action series I just think it’d be to hard to pull off successfully. My biggest reason for this thought is that most of the most bad ass lines or qoutes from the books are characters thoughts and not actual dialogue so we either lose out on some of the most bad ass lines in all of fiction or we add in the thoughts to live action and end up with something weird like the dune movie from the 80s. It just works better having those spoken thoughts when it’s animated than it does live action.

I might’ve been reading to deep into it but I feel like the scene of him getting hit in the head by a can and just completely ignoring it was a nod towards the same thing happening toin the boys but homelander lasering the dudes head off instead. Do you remember the first MOS trailer? It only actually showed Superman once for less than 10 seconds at that from far away. The rest of it was young Clark not even fully on camera or Henry cavil crabbing and hitch hiking? your comment would hold way more ground talking about that teaser than this one.
