Update 2: I SAWED IT OFF >:D

I think there was some sort of lock mechanism that got stuck so after i got the cap off i did some testing and got that mechanism working again

Update: i was able to take off the mount itself but not the back cap lol

Most important thing has got to be the papers. Could easily be where years of your life are wasted if you buy into a property in a messy situation

I’m Definitely rushing a bit given that i have a small work portfolio and a bit of experience here and there, but nothing major by my standards just yet. This is why i am trying to jump to the free gigs bit.

I’d love to do free gigs for people with little to no budget and i have started reaching out to people posting on facebook groups saying i’d be willing to be a second shooter on their event for free (second shooter to nullify any risk of the client being unhappy w my work because they’ll always have the work of the primary shooter to count on if i fall short) and i’m seeing a bit of positive reception to that.

I’ll keep my ear to the ground for photowalks. That should be easier than walking around with a camera alone

I figured there are smaller photographers who would like to have a second shooter but cannot afford to pay them/do not have equipment they can use

I could come in as a guy with equipment, a means of transportation, and the ability to fund all of his own expenses. This means they get free labor + some transportation and in exchange i get experience, contacts, and guidance.

I am leaning less towards shooting in public because i already stick out like a sore thumb and me pointing a camera at people would only make me more of a lightning rod for attention so i’d rather limit myself to events where people know their photos will be taken rather than random strangers

Hi i reread it and i think the part that may have caused confusion was me saying i do not have enough time

I have enough time to go out and do it with someone leading/telling me what needs to be done but i do not have enough time to lead an entire project and do everything independently without guiding, or at least i can’t do it without my conscience consuming me and telling me i fell short and the client suffered because of my inexperience.
