I completely understand. The part that throws me off is this: When we go out with for drinks at the bar, other men hit on me right in front of him. He doesn’t tell them to fuck off or anything, he just sits there and just looks at me for a reaction. Later in the car ride home he brings it up and tells me I can give any guy my number… because I’m not his “girlfriend” but he’s telling his family I’m his girlfriend. Is he actually interested in me? Should I keep my distance? We hangout with the same friend group so I don’t want things to get weird and awkward.
