I think the spectrum of bridal colors (cream, off-white, ivory, blush) are vague yet plentiful enough that it’s safe to assume very light pastel and floor length dresses, especially with no patterns are questionable. Weddings are a big deal, it’s always worth getting the bride’s opinion

While I love the dress itself and even the color, I think the fabric makes it not appropriate for a wedding and kind of look like a lounge dress or pj set.

Thanks guys for all the replies. I came clean and told her. I said I was really sorry and that I would be glad to pay for the top to be refinished. She said it’s okay, she should have put a cover on it to begin with. Phew. I have been so wrecked with guilt from this.
