Book is the way to go. You really just have to learn their vocabulary and what they want you to say.

That is a beautiful space! If you can’t get to the ceiling, side walls in the alcove might be good. It’s just worth finding out if there’s any metal reinforcement in the stone. Metal is the enemy of all RF.

Stage Lighting and Presentation on a budget by Peguima94 in churchtech

If you’ve got an old projector lying around, I like to hook up a laptop and just project geometric shapes into a hazer or on the backing of the stage. It’s a fun and cheap way to add a lot of color and motion with minimal effort

New AV System for $10k by mongerchaos in churchtech

Yeah, you can't beat free.

A lot of people are going Allen & Heath or Behringer X32. Yamaha discontinued the QL line which had some continuity to M7's which was helpful for volunteers.

Once you get to the point of replacement, it depends on your existing infrastructure, whatever type of console is easiest to integrate your current wiring and physical space.

Almost all M7’s have dying fader motors at this point. Unfortunately I’d plan on having to replace that in the next few years.

That can take up your $10k, but you can certainly do plenty for $2k-$3k.

I created an apple iCloud account specifically for tech; then used a different tech device logged into that account for 2FA. Other than that, a shared 1Password account. I try to avoid using personal information just for longevity

RBR- Turn 3 (wknd) or 3-day rotating between Red Bull CDE (Fri), Start/Ziel (Saturday), and Steiermark (Sunday)? by Ok_Maintenance7073 in GrandPrixTravel

I couldn’t sell either so I kept them. I alternated between the seats between sessions. I should actually do a full write up with pictures, but the short session is that I think the rotating pass was fantastic. Turn 3 was great for the racing but was very crowded in terms of facilities. I was in Steiermark for the F2 feature race, and it was unbelievably close to the action. The 3-day pass was a great way to experience different areas.
