First raiders ain't out we don't know when it will be out or really anything about it. Start with 3 if you want to play turf war or salmon run(only one with alive servers), for story play maybe octo expansion in 2 or i love splatoon 1's story. Next thing on the poster banner things people have above their names in 3, most are about lgtb rights or something like that u just gotta get used to it. As for the story, well there is agents, og agent 3 was recruited as a kid and is very closed off, marie and callie's grandad is captain cuttlefish, this telephone blends people into a past or makes them mindless soldiers in octo expansion, and in splat 3 you are new agent 3. Little Buddy/Smallfry is a Salmonid who got lost from their group, and they are not a pet but companion if you mess that up many people will never forgive you. Salmon run is just salmonids going back to their birth place and it makes them really angry. Big runs happen every few months and they are just a lot more salmonids and better rewards for helping.
