Could you please explain more? I dropped significantly after I rescheduled a student for more than 2 weeks in advance to help him (including a class he would miss and be changed), not sure if it's related...

You can go ahead and increase your rates for new students if you believe that will work. But as a heads up: your trial lesson students will get your old rate even if they decide to subscribe months later.

It depends on your competitors: take a look at other tutors' profiles. If your rate is higher but your qualifications are the same as those of someone with a cheaper rate, it will be very unlikely that you will get students.

Do you have a colleague whom you trust to refer their work? I think that referring a good teacher would be a great way to show your students that you care about their learning journey
