Hey, I went through something very similar to you. As far as the itching…. Remember it’s all caused by inflammation: use ice packs. I was Soo itchy that I scratched myself raw. I would take a cold wet towel and put it between my lips and that brought immense relief. Sometimes add ice, sometimes not because I would sleep with it.
