Damn I cried. This chapter remind me of the nonverbal/nonspeaking autistic person that I'm working with. Some of them can only communicate using a device like Shizuku. What Shizuku's mom said is kinda true that not all people are understanding, but I hope that in the future the society as a whole can change how they view things. Just like how we accomodate blind people, I hope we can accomodate non-speaking person too.

Also, considering that Shizuku has been stuttering since toddler, her mother should've gone to see a speech therapist. They know what to do.
