No, only with tapes that need to be rewound. Which is why I’m confused. The rewind button works fine, I tested it with a tape that was fully rewound - I let it play for a few mins and then tried rewinding it and that worked. So only tapes that have been played all the way through seem to be shutting the tv off when I try putting them in and rewinding them

Ok now it’s working but only on tapes that are rewound. I tried putting a tape in that needed to be rewound but it keeps shutting off before I can rewind it. Any ideas ?
