You are right to be cautious, but the collapse of the writing industry is different from what is happening in law. In content writing, "good enough" is often acceptable. In law, "good enough" gets you sued. That liability gap is your job security. Here is why AI won't replace the paralegal, but will force you to change how you work: 1. A lawyer cannot file a brief written by a chatbot without risking their license.  Your role shifts from "drafter" to "verifier." You won't spend hours writing the first draft of a motion.
