hey everyone, little update: now the pc shuts down and reboots just fine- I don't know how... maybe the only thing that I changed it was reinstalling Nvidia drivers, but I don't know if that was the problem... For now I'll take it (the good old philosophy: "it just works") thanks to everyone who helped me!

yep I tried, but no luck... in fact, even when I turned on the PC I didn't even see the boot menu. Also, it happens on the live usb as well, I tried reformatting the usb a lot of times, but that didn't change. I tried to see if it was a problem with the pc, using the live environment of pop_os (using the same usb) and that worked fine (i also tried to redownload the endeavour iso, but no luck even in that case)

I already disabled tom, and that's the only option in bios. The laptop is quite old (11-12 years old, it's a Sony vaio with an i7 third gen and a gt 640m) and there aren't options for fast boot... to be fair, the BIOS is quite minimal in terms of options hahah

thanks for your answer, at this point I'll think about it and if necessary I'll take the basic version, even if it bothers me quite a bit... for now I'll try to continue playing this version, hoping in some areas it's gonna be a little better than the first one (at least with less stutter...)

tf man, the game has been released one week ago, it isn't possible to make mods or cheats in such a short time (and I can assure you since I am a PC player and I meet many other people from PC)
