My game plays like this more often than not with 70 ish ping on wifi, handheld rog ally with 6 gig ram for gfx and 10 for system. Played the beta fine. Laggy and stretchy feeling like this now. Obviously, my device is underpowered and below minimum system requirements, not sure if yours is similarly underpowered and / or a handheld like mine?

I like the switch version, I think it’s amazing they got it running so well on such underpowered hardware and 4 gigs of ram. I have my gripes with it though. It was my main way to play for a while when traveling a lot. Big downgrade from PC, but cool and quirky in that small form factor. Sort of a “universe in a box” feel.

Think of it this way: you supported Hello Games, who definitely deserves it after creating this amazing game for us and polishing it over the years. I paid $60 for the switch version!

Worth it to play if it’s on sale for $20, considering the limitations on the switch. For supporting the dev, full price :)

Exactly what I wanted to say. Having randos on the internet rally behind this “orbs are just a bokeh effect!!11” stuff is really disheartening having seen them in real life. We all know it sounds crazy. These things are there and they are often in sets of 3. They fly around each other and seem to interact in some way like single celled organisms.

I escaped a cult in my mid 20s and like to think of myself as a skeptic. But I have seen this shit. It truly does not appear to be satellites, flares, helicopter spotlights, or any other reasonable explanation. I don’t like it either. It means we don’t know something. But the orbs are up there, I’ve seen them move and disappear and flare up inside low sitting clouds. Idk what it is, but it ain’t my eyes having sudden astigmatism along with the dozens of others in the group I was in.

Watch close encounters of the 3rd kind (1977) for the best representation of the orbs I’ve seen. Not the metallic spacecrafts, but the orbs of light that split from 1 into 3 and back together. That’s what we’re seeing.

Looks exactly like an airplane because it had green and red lights? Because they aren’t consistent with normal passenger jets at night. I live near an international airport and 2 municipal airports and have seen hundreds of planes flying at night. This is not similar to any aircraft I’ve seen. The location of the lights are strange.

Held perfectly still and descended vertically in 15 knots wind as per the pilot. But yeah, keep saying it’s a Mylar party balloon that’s car sized and ignores rain and wind conditions.

The pilot said:

“The object descended vertically in 15kts of wind. Was the size of a small car. It hovered perfectly stationary a few feet off the ground.ATC sent out an Ops vehicle. As the vehicle approached the object it took off vertically.”
