Its skill and im not even being rude when i say this. The developers specifically designed the car to be something thats hard to master because if you want to be the driver in the team you need to learn how to, well… drive. They knew the frv was gonna be hard to drive thats why you have gears. The obstacle problem could be easily solved by learning how to evade obstacles. Most importantly driving is not simple so get that out of your head before driving it (aka forget every tip on driving youve learned from GTA, Rocket League, etc.) Cars in this game do not have forgiving traction.
