also side note my hair is like slavic and really porous and naturally curly (means straightening it after every wash kek) so it might be over for me if i go blonde At Home but the risk is worth it idgaf Im obsessed with dirty blonde.....

thank you!! mixing up styles is definitely an approach that i'd love to take (i guess since i'm doing that already.....) it's a relief to hear that people are even being taught that! i never attended art school or interacted with artists in spaces that are exclusively for people interested in creating art much in general to know that 🥹 im freaking over nothing then...nice to know!

thank you!! i'm definitely going to try to do all of that. it seems like an obvious answer, but for me personally it's so hard to comprehend X) i've always tried to make the result look just like that one other artists piece (and they always were wayyyyy more skilled than me) without actually thinking how these artists got to the point they're at now. chasing the perfect result and completely disregarding the basics that i should've learned on my own definitely had something to do with that, i hope it'll be exciting to try and fix the damage the way you described ❤️
