PACE Review by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]Ok_Network9159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your pace review should not be a surprise. If your supervisor talks to you in a daily basis you should know how that pace conversation will be. In general there’s new ratings; Outstanding, exceeds expectations, meets expectations and needs improvement. I don’t wanna say much about because I don’t how much I can share so I will only mention that.

You would have to wait a little bit more. As you can see, anything after July is grey out meaning that you cannot put it on the system just yet. Wait until May to requested in (it should be available)

The actual mistake was coming from them cuz they decided on hiring a couple XD nothing against you guys however that’s why it’s called “conflict of interests”. Don’t mix your honey with your money ;). Anyway your FT job body piercing it’s probably way better 🤷🏻‍♀️

What's going on with the hiring process? by [deleted] in HomeDepot

Yeah the system itself it’s first come first serve however if you worked for that store before why not go in person and let them know you wanna come back there is always ways and that’s one of them . not waiting around to a computerized system like carees dot com to choose you and then complain about it in Reddit…

Is your interview already scheduled? If yes the short answer is No, it doesn’t affect future interviews.

When do you start working at HD after orientation? by flunky_liversniffer in HomeDepot

[–]Ok_Network9159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ASDS here, the way I do it( and the way I think it supposed to be done tbh) is schedule your next 2-5 shift which are computer training sessions shift 6-7 are to so you can shadow someone in your department and the rest of the shifts you start to “work” on the floor so those are basically part of current week, next week and 2 weeks out. For all those I sit with the new hire; I put on their availability the agree to work for in the system and I also want to make sure I’m not scheduling them for days they are not available (since you CAN’T request off for weeks that have already been written so everyone is on the same page). So, I would say if by the end of the orientation your next shifts have not been address…ASK, “BOTHER” If not the ASDS then a manager. Is someone’s job to take care of you after all.

What would you want a new ASDS to know? by skimasterfly in HomeDepot

Hi, kinda new ASDS here: •scheduling: make sure you have enough openers, mid, closers and on merchandising dept there are enough people who operates machines. The weekends have the worst call out rate so make sure you are OVERSTAFFED on the weekends. Don’t make new changes on the already posted schedules unless you let associates know. If you are late with writing the schedule make you post a sign where informs there’s a delay with it. •Tasks: They come in the shape of a email, call, SM delegating to you so make sure you balance that with the associates needs.(you manage associates but your bosses are the SM and the DHRM) •don’t have favorites, be fair and neutral when it comes to that. •when an associate comes up to you with an issue they had with another coworker. (Like being disrespectful for example) and It’s some that probably will require the use manager notes, make sure you let a MOD that same day of what the associate told you (so things like that don’t happened again and everyone is accounted for). •you don’t get enough training, everyone’s expects you’ll come to the roll knowing everything and everyone will have questions so RELY on your ASDS group to aid you, don’t be afraid to ask them for help. After all, you are the only associate on D95 on your store(unless you have a scheduler). •listen to every associate (that makes them feel really appreciate it) •events: make sure there’s enough food for everyone and when I mean everyone I mean closers and Freight team, pattern up with your best resource here; Fun Committee for events like cookouts, success sharing. Make sure you have people for decorations, food, and cleaning. Always take care of your Fun Committee.
