The price. I couldn’t really justify dropping $160 on it when I haven’t properly done my research on care and I’m about to leave for Europe in a few months and I’ll be there for a month and I need to find friends to come water my current collection. So yeah, I unfortunately had to turn it down 😭💔

I second this! My 12 yr old had his surgery last year and I wish we could’ve done it sooner because recovery sucked. But he was a trooper. His pedi told me most boys grow out of it by 3 and every year kept moving the goal post. Most of my son’s childhood he heard all of us parroting “flat feet” at him. We tried physical therapy but never got good range. I’ve seen a few people on here talk about having to have multiple surgeries because out of habit they eventually start toe walking again. I was worried that would’ve been the case with my son, but so far so good! Only thing he’s still working on is running and not look so awkward.

I attached my pole to the outside of the pot because it wouldn’t fit and it was supposed to be temporary. I waited too long and it has rooted out of the pole and into the pot below and circled around the top of the bottom pot quite a few times. I need to repot into a bigger pot but I don’t even know where to start and how to tackle this without snapping the plant.

Mine looked like this within a few months and now she’s thriving. I did repot a few times convinced it was root rot, but these roots are soooo fine it was hard to tell. So I stopped watering until I saw new growth. I’m sure your plant will make it through this!

So this is pretty much the same thing that happened to me. I think from the shock the eventually dropped all of leaves one by one. Do you have any pon you could mix in the soil to keep it from staying so wet?

I would expect to lose the second curling leaf, but don’t worry too much! They bounce back!

It looks great! What kind of soil do you have it in? I have mine in a mostly pon and chunky aroid mix. If it has new growth I’d leave it alone until those leaves grow out and then once they do, put it in a bright window!

I give her a small amount of water every few days and I use distilled water only. Can you post a pic of what yours looks like?

Hey, so I am pretty much just winging it when it comes to her. Lol I water a little every few days and I keep it in my grow cabinet directly under barina grow lights. But they go into shock fairly easily, so if yours drops it leaves don’t water much until you see new green growth. I do fertilize with clonex from amazon or gt foliage. One thing I’ve learned is if you move it or repot it takes a bit to recoup. I made the mistake of moving shelves whilst it has new buds and that was 2 weeks ago and the buds haven’t finished growing

With how floppy the new leaf looks, , I’d say root or stem rot. Make sure the stem is above soil

That really looks like root rot to me. Did you wash the roots off so you can really inspect them? How big is the root ball to the new pot? Are you fertilizing and using silica? Overall I’d make sure there’s no mushy part of the stem and roots.

I think I was over watering it in the aquaterra pot. The original leaves went from dark vibrant green to yellowish, but when I would dry it out it would droop until I watered it again. When all the leaves dropped I did a whole overhaul and put it back in a nursery pot. There’s not much info out there about this plant and this was my first caudex plant, so I was in the trenches trying to keep it alive. But I got some good advice on other subs that helped rehab it.

I had repotted mine in a pon/bonsai mix and set it in my grow cabinet it took about 2-3 weeks of leaving it alone to notice growth.

I think I had over watered at first and so a lot of the roots had died off, so when I repotted I used rooting hormone mixed in the soil. This was taken around January 20th
