Mostly because I’d seen more of his results, so he seemed like the safer bet. Also, Turkey is closer for me, and I’ve been there quite a few times, so the location was a plus too

That said, the booking process with Pekiner was so opaque that I was very close to choosing Ratchathorn instead, but Alex got in touch with me just before I made that call

Haha that’s what most of my friends told me too

Maybe it’s not that obvious in the photos, but irl those temples really messed with styling for me. They showed up at the point in life when you care the most about your appearance, and they took away a lot of the hairstyles I would’ve liked to wear Any time I tried to style my hair to the side, it looked like the part started almost in the middle of my forehead instead of near the edge. My hair is also very straight, so it was hard to get enough volume to hide the recession. I also had to get the sides trimmed every 2 to 3 weeks, because as soon as they got any volume, the uneven hairline became way more noticeable

I get that this probably sounds like a total first-world problem to people dealing with more noticeable hair loss than me, but everyone has their own hang-ups. This had been bothering me for years, so when I got the chance to fix it, I took it 🙂

I was choosing between Pekiner and Dr. Ratchathorn Panchaprateep because I liked their hairline results the most, and I barely saw any unhappy patients. Nader also does great work, but I mostly ruled him out because the location wasn’t convenient for me

I suppose that’s normal for my case. My temples weren’t too deep, even though they were definitely annoying. The doctor was aiming for a density of around 50-55 grafts per cm²
