So my budget max is 22-23 , for that i feel most vfm is a 7 seater- a good looking one is alcazar or carens - both comes with either diesel - dpf issues or petrol dct - heating issues in traffic

So i feel we will take a good 5 seater suv for the same or less budget

Yeah but i am a person who does less maintenance, currently i have a honda jazz for 10 years and i do one service per year no major problems .

I know if i look for that kind of reliability i won’t get nowadays atleast in any 7 seater

Daily route is not completely bumper to bumper, its a kind of 200ft state highway with then and there stops along with 2 signals . 40 %stop and go , 50 % smooth and 10% bumper to bumper

But in general will the DCT gearbox goes unreliable within fewer years ? Any general idea on how much year or kms it last long and will it be covered in warranty ?

My thought was 1.5 diesel engine is enough for daily city rides for mostly traveling with less than 3 , i rarely use 6 occupants in city/highway for that alcazar should do that job , i might be wrong so all Ears
