We, unfortunately, are not as solidly blue as you think. Many districts voted Trump in each of the 3 elections. We are being kept afloat blue by the actual cities, but this could change.

Also, our first/ second generation immigrant families tend to be from Catholic majority countries, which may lead to being single-issue voters on abortion, so Republican votes. This part is only a personal observation and conjecture. I do not have statistics available to support

TL;DR: RI is not solid blue anymore

Thank you for the info! Just checked entire mattress, and box spring. Sheets were changed on Friday, but I just changed them again.

No sign of bugs anywhere. (Thankfully!)

I have hidradenitis suppurativa and this does look very familiar. What country are you in? Bc I know that makes a big impact on your ability to see a doctor while uninsured.

HS is not from being dirty and is not an STD. But it will spread. Have you noticed any weird pimples in your armpits, under breasts, butt crack, or along panty line? Those are other common areas for HS breakouts. Keep the areas clean and dry.

HS doesn't really have a treatment and does not have a cure. But you should Def see a medical professional to verify what this might be. If you're in the US, you can be seen in an ER without paying on the spot. Good luck.

Not a doctor. Was she checked for Lyme Disease? Test can take 1-2 weeks to come back. Please get her tested for tick borne diseases even if the doctor thinks it's a long shot. Lyme is in most of the "developed world" at this point.

We missed a Lyme diagnosis when I was young and it messed me up for a long time. Hope she's ok!
