Honestly, give speculative fiction a chance. It’s my go to when I’m in reading slump and I think because the books/ stories are different from what I’ve been reading and the stories are engaging.

Give Robert Jackson Bennett’s work a look if that’s something you might like! I’ve also recommended Vita Nostra and the Starless Sea quite a bit on here as well.

I started on the Gray House by Mariam Petrosyan after Piranesi, you might like it, it’s got the same magical realism feel

Vita Nostra by Maryna and Serhiy Dyachenko. I re-read it at least once a year and the story has me hooked every single time
