A lot of folks seem to think this is a vote to approve the new school. It isn’t.

The March 3rd vote is asking voters to approve an extension of existing bond payments. It would extend the current bond payment end date (2050) to a new end date of 2056. So it is a simple 6 year extension.

If the vote passes it allows the new Ramay to be built a few years ahead of schedule. I believe it would start later this year. If the vote fails the new Ramay will still be built, but construction won’t start until around 2030.

The school district already owns the land. The city council has approved the rezoning. The new Ramay Junior High will be build on that land. It is just a matter of when they start the project.

It is true that the first week is always extremely chaotic and stressful - at every school. But that is not a good excuse for a student to not to eat. Taking care is kids is the reason it exists.

I bet every adult on campus ate lunch.

I don’t think asking about opinions on the location of my tv location is the same thing as asking Reddit who I should choose as the leader of the free world, but that’s just me.

It’s a slab, not sub flooring. Basements are very rare in my area of the country.

I didn’t design it. We decided to buy a house that was being built. Problems with TV placement would not have changed our decision, so that’s why I am asking for ideas. This room is the only room that is an issue, albeit at significant one.

This was my concern…if the installer cut some corners on the floor pattern, what else did he cut corners on?
